Mata Hari was her stage name. Yes, she is a was. What makes her creepy is well, Mata Hari was executed for being accused of espionage during WWI. She was Europe's queen of exotic dancing and men loved her. She faced her execution with no blindfolds nor was she tied to a stake. She faced the firing squad face to face. With a single blow to her head, coup de grace, ended her life.
