Chainsaws & Jelly | February Muse

February's muse is someone very special..my cousin, Paula Ocot. She's a great make-up artist.  She's an awesome human being who is always trying to better herself.  I have respects for people who do as I'm always on that soul search.

This was really fun, candid, and really showed her beauty. Done in the comfort of her apartment and we also snuck, Paula's dog, Lola.  Lola is a babe.  Nothing was edited.  I'm not a photographer or editor, sooo.  BUT...I'm that weirdo who likes photos blurry and as is.  I like it that way.

I did add a temporary watermark as I've learned from our first muse.  Photo snatchers of the 3rd kind!

More photos after the jump.  Don't forget to click on the photos to enlarge.  The make-up was a smokey look with some odds and ends.  I used a lot of gold on her and really buffed in her foundation to get that flawless look.  I also contoured and really highlighted her features.  Add some false eyelashes and also painted "false" lashes to her bottom.

She's an Ocot, GORGEOUS!  Enjoy!

What is make-up to me?  To me, make-up is an outlet of creativity & art, the ability to have the power to transform an appearance, and most importantly making everyone you meet feel great about themselves. It's all about appreciating yourself first and foremost and using make-up to accentuate your natural beauty. Confidence & a good attitude is the most important make-up anyone can rock.

Motto? Go confidently in the direction of your dreams, live the life you've imagined.

What am I looking forward in 2011?  I'm looking forward to meeting more amazing people, and getting to know myself in a whole new light ;)

What did I think about the photoshoot? It was so much fun! I felt like a starlet, and the best part was working with my cousin, Sheena, and always learning new techniques ;)  You're so talented, Sheena! I loved my look!!! Thank you!
